Once again Justin, thanks a ton for anwering my question. This is still new to me and I’m trying to wade through it all. My first BANS site started making me a little money, so I’m at that “hey this is working!” phase. I also admire that you can keep school a top priority when you pay your bills with this. That’s cool. Anyway, thanks again man.

Thanks so much. Glad I could help. Sorry if I’m unclear. Always try my best.
Working on a BANS site right no for the case study thing. I’m hoping it helps explain some things.

I got a question about BMD. I’ve heard Vic has dedicated machines to make BMD runs all day. How do you use it? How often do you post your own sites to scuttle sites? I have a feeling a I could be utilizing this tool a little more.

Thanks again!

I’ve cut back on my usage lately. I don’t think I’ve started the program up in 2 to 3 weeks because of moving and stuff. And prior to that I cut back because the number of sites it submits to really went down. I’m looking forward to the new version, then I’ll have more to say on it.

I have a Mac, so I have to boot into Windows via parallels or bootcamp. Parallels is laggy on my mac and bootcamp requires a reboot, so I don’t use it as often as a prob should. I usually switch over to Windows to use all my SEO software.

When I used BMD the most, I used it like Vic suggested. 3 runs of each or so, then I’d close it. I don’t run it nearly as much as Vic does.

I’ve been holding out on the upgrade. With all the new features, the way we use it might change a lot. Plus it looks like I can use it when I’m on OS X

Justin, is keyword sniping the same as ninche marketing or is there a difference. I was looking at an article on Curt’s site, and it looks like the same think with a different name.

Thanks,
Chad

Chad,

Yeah, I’d say the two concept are very much the same. Keyword sniping is very focused on a particular keyword. Its a whole site set up to dominate 1 keyword.

What I like about using article marketing for link building is the fact that like court says - for a little extra work you can get such a huge return.

Recently I have started using ezine articles as well and the great thing with that is that it actually provides a trickle of traffic and seems to get scraped more meaning more links for me.

I think you could take this one step further and build a hubpage, leaving it for a while and then coming back to it and adding a backlink to your site. Because hubpages (like articlemarketer) insist on longer articles, it means your hubpage gets a better score.

Thanks for the video; always gives me so much to think about.

Thanks Paul =)

Yeah, sites like squidoo and hubpages can provide good backlinks. I use them here and there. Some people go wild though and use them in massive amounts for the majority of them links. I just use a few.

Hey Justin, I’m one of that guys that read a lot, watches all the videos and usually don’t comment (I think I have to change that). Anyway, mate, I love the videos, great quality, your comments make sense, I love the approach you take in the maths field.
I use article marketer and yep, it is a pain sometimes the amount of delays and dealing with the mood of the editors but it is worth it. I also use the paid version of Article Submitter.
Thanks again ;)

Ostralia,

Awesome to see you commenting! I’ve tried to make a few videos the past few days, but I end up unhappy with them. Its so weird sitting along and talking to your computer =P

I need to post up a new video.

Justin,

I was thinking about things…with SEO, it’s like planting seeds and then nuturing the plant until it grows and bears fruit.

I think the thing is that people are afraid that they will try, and not get any fruit.

At the end of the day..would you agree that…

If you build the site, and it is relevant, not spammmy, and get links to it, all it is is a matter of time that it will rank…

if it doesnt get where you want it to, then get more links.

Matt

Yeah, I completely agree. A good site with good content with good content should eventually rank. Google is weird sometimes though.

Google seems to give heavy weight to site age, so waiting for it to grow is a good way to put it. Sometimes with a new domain, its just a matter of waiting for it to age.

Yo Justin!

Just curious how many back links you have that bans site that was making you $300 dollar a month…

I had a bans site that was making $40-$50 and I had done nothing for back links. The last month I’ve lost almost all traffic to my bans sites, even the ones not on .info domains. I imagine this just means I have to do some dirty work getting links for these sites.

It has about 200 backlinks and got a PR 2 on the last update. It doesn’t rank as well in Google as I’d like, but it does well in Yahoo. Yahoo sends in enough traffic (surprisingly) to make the money for that site.

If you are making enough money online to pay all your bills, you’ve done something fantastic brother. If I can make enough money online to pay all my bills, I’d consider myself pretty successful. If you apply everything you’ve done to 800 sites like Vic, imagine the green you’d be pulling in!

Hey Justin,

Quick question which has probably been already answered at one point or another:

Are 100 backlinks from the same domain just as good as 100 backlinks from 100 different sites?

Thanks,

John
