SEO for Firefox Tutorial
June 10, 2008 By: Justin | 4 commentsSomeone in previous post said they thought a video tutorial for SEO add ons would be helpful. This is a quick and dirty tutorial of SEO for Firefox, which is a Firefox add on by SEO Book.
It has three main features.
- Displays SEO stats below listings in Google search results (can call info automatically or on demand)
- Also you to call SEO stats for 1 site through look up tool
- Highlights Nofollow links in red (or any color you pick)
This plugin can be turned on and off via an icon at the bottom of your browser window.
My suggested setting is to have it set to show information on demand. If you do it automatically, keep the add on off until you need it. Requesting sites like Google and Yahoo too fast or too often for link information can get your IP temp banned.
Here is the video, if you have any questions let me know.
Still learning Camtasia. The video is a little blurry, but I”ll practice at getting it better.

I was so involved in the song I forgot to read the captions. I’ll have to re-watch the video. J/K
Nice tips! I had trouble when I first starting using this add-on too. I left it on all the time. Big Mistake!
lol. My girlfriend sent me that song the other day. I thought it was cool so I wanted to share it on my blog.
Yeah, I use to get banned all the time when I fist got SEO Quake. I got banned from Google for like 2 days. That was not fun. (not my site, but my IP, I couldn’t use Google)
I’ll prob make a video for SEO Quake too. I’ll do voice videos when I can figure out why my sound lags when I make videos.

Well, I can surf the net with no browser, kid! No browser, kid! No browser, kid!
