About SEO Zombie

SEO Zombie started off as my project to share and represent my SEO and Internet Marketing work, but has slowly developed into a blog where I talk about and teach internet marketing. I’ve been designing websites for years, but at the end of 2007, I focused my efforts into making money online( instead of through work related to web design). I now do internet marketing to make money online while going to college full time.

What SEO Zombie Is About?

During my time reading and getting to know bloggers in the make money online niche, one thing I’ve learned is their lack of depth. Many MMO blogs start off strong, but quickly develop into blogs that primarily post:

  • Fluff articles that teach in very general terms
  • Waste of time motivational posts with generic self-help advice
  • Posts where they push their (or their friends) newest affiliate product to the readers

I noticed many of these sites do not actually teach concepts. Instead of teaching their viewers how do something on their own, they push an affiliate product that does the job. The blogger gets ahead, while their readers remain traped in the rat race that is “make money online”.

This blog is to do the exact oposite of what traditional make money online blogs do. I will cover topics indepth. I won’t constantly push one product after another. No crappy guest posts. And I won’t be trying to sale you a product in one out of ever 3 to 5 posts I make. I will answer questions and try to find a solution to anything I do not know.

Over the last several months, my sites have developed to the point where I can make money while going to school without the need to hold a part time job. I get to make money from my apartment in my room and on my schedule. There is no reason my readers can’t do the same.

Who Is Justin Briggs?

I’m a 22 year old college student. My educational history is in engineering, but I’ve changed focus to SEO recently. I’ve been designing web sites for several years and even worked at Vanderbilt Unviersity for about five years. I love the internet and find search to be very interesting. I hope I can help people and businesses be more successful by using my knowledge to promote their business.
